Doc is fulfilling a life-long dream by running in the most elite level of drag racing, Top Fuel. The team began in the grassroots division of drag racing, running bracket cars over 20 years ago. With Doc behind the wheel and overseeing the operation the team grew and developed with huge support from local fans.

In 1999, Doc's car was the first blown top dragster to win a national event, and he set the pace for others when speed and ET mattered most.

In 2001, Sipple Motorsports made the leap to the Nitromethane powered Top Fuel category. The years of hard work paid off as Doc finished in the top 10 in points in 2002 and again in 2004.

Doc has been married to wife Doris for 46 years. Together they have 5 children named Sheryl, Mike, Dan, Aaron and Chris. Doc and Doris also have a whopping 12 grandchildren.

Real” job: Owns Sipple’s Automotive in Berea, KY

Mike has been around drag racing as long as he can remember.  Having worked on almost every type of drag car and owning a track for several years, Mike found his true passion...Top Fuel.  The upcoming season will be Mike’s eighth as a Top Fuel Crew Chief. 

 Mike has been married to his wife Tina for 14 years and the couple has four children; Jeffrey Renner and Samantha, Brett and Aaron Sipple.
